I recently had the opportunity to visit the University of Louisville Swimming & Diving program and spend some time with Head Coach Arthur Albiero, a fellow Brazilian who has helped transform Louisville into one of the premier programs in NCAA swimming. Over the past two decades, Coach Arthur has built a culture of excellence that has consistently placed both the men's and women's teams among the nation's top programs.

During my visit, I got to see firsthand how the Cardinals are preparing for a busy summer of competition, with athletes training hard for major international meets as well as national-level competitions across the United States. The energy on deck, attention to detail, and commitment to development were evident throughout every aspect of the program.

I also had the chance to tour the facilities and learn more about what Louisville looks for in future Cardinals. Beyond talent, the program places a strong emphasis on character, work ethic, and finding athletes who embrace the team's culture and pursuit of excellence. A huge thank you to Coach Arthur and the Louisville staff for their hospitality and for sharing insights into one of the most respected programs in collegiate swimming.
